Folds - they are a deal breaker or maker in the eyes of many parents so it's not surprising that more and more brands are producing fabulous folds which are so easy that they can be operated with just one hand. We've taken a look at our favourite one hand folding pushchairs on the market and here they are.
gB Qbit
A new brand to the UK, gb have made their mark releasing quality pushchairs with oodles of functions. The Qbit+ has all the benefits of its little brother the Qbit, with extra premium functions including a reclining backrest with a true lie-flat position suitable from birth. Its one hand fold turns the Qbit+ into a compact and free-standing package in seconds.
Mountain Buggy Swift
This tough little cookie is easy to use as well as pleasing to the eye. Cleverly hidden underneath the leg rest of the seat, you will find a unique folding bar. Just twist this bar and the swift will fold back down onto its own footprint in a millisecond, it couldn't get any easier! Read what we thought about the Swift here.
Out n About little nipper
You can easily have baby on your hip whilst folding the Little Nipper. Just unclip the large plastic safety clips on either side of the frame and pull the cord which is carefully hidden in the crease of the seat unit - voila - the Little Nipper folds in half in a jiffy.
Icandy Strawberry 2
It's all in the handlebar with this fold. Pinch the button and squeeze the handlebar lever and the Strawberry 2 will fold forward onto its own footprint. There's no need to worry about taking the seat unit off either as the Strawberry 2 even folds with the seat unit in place in both world and parent facing modes!
Babystyle Oyster Zero
The Oyster Zero is a versatile stroller with a wide seat and several luxury touches that you would usually find on a full sized travel system. As well as being lovely to look at, it delivers in the easy fold stakes too. Just release the red safety catch on the side of the frame with one flick and pull the lever hidden underneath the seat fabrics and watch the Oyster Zero compactly fold in half!
